COOL FOR CATS

These days its impossible to read a blog

Without running the risk of having my fingers bitten or recieving assistance from these big paws

As for reading a newspaper in peace....forget it the competition for attention is just too great.

Is anybody else watching The pride of Britain tonight. Inspirational and tear jerking, aren't they all wonderful and worthy of acknowledgement and recognition it makes such refreshing change from all the rubbish that can sometimes grace our television screens at times..Pass another tissue please.

Well done to all those special people who were honoured tonight

Do you recognise your blog Gleds, tsuru was quite captivated...lol

So, that's why your post output is slowing down, is it? Having a dysfunctional laptop here, together with our feline super-model, Margarida, we have discovered what the attraction is. A laptop is ideal for a catnap because......they like the warmth it generates. It's like sitting on a heated cushion!! VoilĂ !
And, after my Anon last week, I just can't wait to find out how rare my personailty is! I'll let you know.
And, Pride of Britain isn't anything to do with rugby, is it? Or obesity? While I'm thinknig about it, can someone please explain to me what a 'chav' is? I get the general idea, but where has this word come from? It's awful. Like the new meaning of WAG.
Lol!

OK, back again. We are both "somewhat rare". My question is: at 6% or 7%, what does 'somewhat' mean? Time to play with the quiz......

And again. Only took one more go, with a little bit of judicious tinkering to get to be the rarest of all - 1%. But it's nobody I'd want to know, LOL!

I have given up on television... it is a dreadful timewasting curse on humanity... but it does have its uses!

1. babysitting kids

and

2. when you're back from work and so utterly exhausted you can barely slam food in the microwave let alone function meaningfully vegging out in front o't telly is just about all you can do

(bet you never expected to hear a work-related comment from me! but I did used to work, honest!)

Gleds lol those little hammys...I think you'd forgive them anything.

As for TV I think Ive run out of uses for it, even vegging out after a day at work..my partner has a habit of going into various rooms swithing on the t.v,walking out leaving them all on, but never watching anything...whats that all about lol

P.S You still work...still productive...just not tied to 9 to 5 and perhaps creating something meaningful, not always found in paid employment :)

The kitten is asleep at the moment so I can actually respond without her chasing the cursor...lol

Audrey said...

Ruth, yes I noticed that too in relation to the rarity bit..lol We are all special in our own unique way..lol

It is worth the hassle Ruth, your right but learning I have to wait till she is asleep to go anywhere near the computer, she seems to have an inbuilt radar...Cursor= lots of fun to her...and me.

Ive got a lot of catching up to do in the meantime..lol

Lol Stewart...Chav...I had to look this up myself, a new slang term to keep the classes in their appropriate places apparently. Nothing new really, but burberry werent too happy with the association, and yes I agree ITS AWFUL!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chav

If only the kitten would sleep due to the warmth, perhaps that will come at a later date, for now she is behaving like a toddler demanding full attention..oh so sweet though.

To be honest Stewart I sit down to write a post and just go blank...strange.
Not a case of the same old, same old, more where do I go from here but not in a bad sense.

Pride of Britain, all those people very often children who have had to go that extra mile through no choice of their own, the word chav lost in words like fortitude, courage, endurance, generosity, spirit and kindness, far more interesting and worth the airtime..

Auds, the theme of the day is Krishnamurti! He just must have been born for caring sensitive, rare types. Come see.
